The scholarship recognizes a record of academic excellence as well as each student’s potential to significantly contribute to their chosen profession.

Campbell is a graduate assistant in IUP’s Office of Student Leadership and Greek Life. Rowlands is an assistant residence hall director at the Punxsutawney campus. Both Campbell and Rowlands serve on SAHE’s graduate student organization, Associates for Student Development, as president and vice president of Professional Development, respectively.

Campbell and Rowlands were presented with the Dean’s Merit Scholarship at the annual College of Education and Educational Technology’s Distinguished Alumni Award presentation and reception on November 3, 2011.
