Take Your Dad to Kenny Rogers for Father’s Day

Tickets to An Evening with Kenny Rogers are still available at all price levels.

Dads of all ages will take a ride back in time when the legendary Kenny Rogers performs live at the Kovalchick Complex on Thursday, June 16, 2011. Kenny Rogers will be celebrating over a half-century in country music during his stop in Indiana with his “First 50 Years Tour.”

Kenny Rogers has won three Grammy Awards, eleven People’s Choice Awards, eighteen American Music Awards, eight Academy of Country Music Awards, and five Country Music Association Awards. Rogers’ legendary hit list includes “The Gambler,” “Lucille,” “Ruby Don’t Take Your Love to Town,” and “Coward of the County.”

“I really, really love what I’m doing,” Rogers said. “People survive longer if they love what they’re doing. Because you just don’t quit.”

VIP tickets for An Evening with Kenny Rogers, priced at $260 for couples and $500 for tables of four, are still available at the Kovalchick Complex Box Office. General admission tickets, priced at $35 and $45, may be purchased online, by phone at 800-298-4200, or at the Kovalchick Complex Box Office.

Alongside country all-star Kenny Rogers, Gary Morris will open the night starting at 8:00 p.m. Gary Morris is known for his number-one hit “Wind Beneath My Wings,” which won the Academy of Country Music Song of the Year in 1983. Together, they will show Indiana what years of making music sounds like.

Celebrate the start of summer and Kenny Roger’s first-ever appearance at the Kovalchick Complex with an outdoor patio party. The cocktail party will invite concert goers and the general public to enjoy beer, wine, or non-alcoholic beverages on the spacious patio. Renda radio stations will be broadcasting live on site, playing today’s best music.
