Looking for something to do this summer? Check out Stapleton Library’s display window, “Explore Pennsylvania: Indiana County and Beyond.”

One side of the window features places and events in and around Indiana, from biking on the Hoodlebug Trail to an Amish wedding dinner in Smicksburg. Included is a listing of events happening throughout the summer, local brochures, a variety of postcards, and the new book, Paintings of Indiana County, Pennsylvania, by Ron Donoughe, available for $25 through the IUP Student Co-op Store, with sales benefiting the University Museum.

Continuing with our tour of the state, the other half of the window highlights various counties throughout Pennsylvania, with phone numbers and Web addresses of their tourist bureaus, as well as some of the exciting activities you can experience there.

Also included in the window are several books from the library’s circulating collection and a number of furry creatures that you might encounter in your travels.

The display will be available throughout the summer.
