Learn more about IUP’s M.S. in Nursing, Education Track, program offered at the IUP Monroeville Graduate and Professional Center by attending an information session Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at 5:00 p.m.
During the session, program coordinator and faculty member Dr. Kristy Chunta will present information about the benefits of earning the M.S. in Nursing from IUP, program curriculum and format, and the admission process.
The Education Track of the M.S. in Nursing program prepares graduates for careers as nurse educators, patient educators, and nursing staff developers in a variety of academic and health care settings. Employers include LPN, diploma, associate, and bachelor’s degree nursing programs, and hospitals, long-term care, and rehabilitation facilities.
Courses in the M.S. in Nursing program are offered Wednesday evenings from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at IUP’s Monroeville site and online. Applications are now being accepted for summer (May) 2011 admission consideration.
IUP’s Nursing program is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
