RLST 481 (Experiential Studies in Religion: Sacred Sites of Scotland) is an upper-level Religious Studies course offered during the Summer pre-session (May 9–May 30, 2011).
It will include a number of day and overnight trips throughout Scotland to religious sites from the prehistoric to contemporary eras and from ancient Pagan, Neo-Pagan/New Age, and Christian traditions. While we will live and travel together, students will also have some free time for their own explorations.
The course is limited to ten to twelve students, who will be required to fill out application forms which are available from Dr Smith (email@example.com). Applications and deposits ($300) are due by February 18, 2011, and may be dropped off in the department office (452 Sutton Hall). Please contact Dr. Smith with questions.
