Monday, January 10, 2011, marks the debut of a new delivery system for IUP Daily.
The new system should result in better on-time delivery and fewer problems with dropped subscriptions. Read on for more details.
For variety of reasons, IUP Daily was taking several hours to complete its delivery. With the new system, everyone should get IUP Daily delivered on time.
The system we used to manage our recipients list ended up dropping people from the list, in particular temporary faculty who were not employed over the summer. If you’ve fallen off the list, you should be back on.
Our previous solution required the inclusion of an unsubscribe link. However, because IUP Daily is an official university publication, employees were automatically resubscribed. The new system omits the unsubscribe link for IUP employees but includes it for off-campus subscriptions.
We’ve had many IUP Daily subscription requests from retired faculty members and other IUP supporters. Anyone can now set up an off-campus subscription on our website. (Off-campus subscribers can terminate their subscriptions at any time.)
