“Dhar’s presentation provided a lesson in entrepreneurship and the possibility of changing career paths,” said Matthew Gaskins, an MBA student, who helped organize the event. “It gave us first-hand access to a CEO, of how a company is run, and of vision for his company.”
Dhar also discussed internships and positions available within the expanding company, mainly in the marketing department.
Prior to developing the company, Dhar was a professor at McGill University in Montreal and served as a researcher and consultant in the nuclear physics field, according to an article in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
ExpenseAnywhere is a business expense tracking company, according to the article. Companies can monitor spending both in the office and on the move by uploading expenses to the Web. The automated system reduces the need for keeping paper receipts and expedites the reimbursement process.
