Budget Matters is a periodic, web video series in which David Werner, interim president of IUP, addresses topics relating to the budget and budget planning.

- addressing this year's shortfall and working toward a balanced budget.
- avoiding additional expenditures out of the higher-than-expected performance funding.
- controlling expenditures, primarily when examining if and how open positions are filled.
- finding alternatives to dipping into the university's financial reserves.
