The American Heart Association held the Indiana County Heart Walk on Saturday, October 2, 2010, at the S&T Bank Arena in Indiana, Pa. Approximately 250 participated by volunteering or walking the nearly three-mile-long trail around the arena.

The students represented the college and supported the community, noted International Business Association president and student event coordinator José Diaz-De Jesus. “I am very proud of the support and effort all the student volunteers put into the Heart Walk,” said Diaz-De Jesus, a double major in International Business and Sport Administration. “They provide a great example of what teamwork is all about. I am also very thankful for the opportunity the College of Business and Information Technology provided me to be able to give back to our community.”
