Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Department of Public Safety and University Police received a camera system through a grant from the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association.

The camera system will be used to assist in crime scene processing.
Ken Zipovsky, grants and technology coordinator from the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association, presented the camera system to IUP.
“IUP’s Department of Public Safety and University Police appreciates the support from the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association, and we thank them for selecting IUP to receive this system,” Vice President for Administration and Finance Peter Holden said.
“IUP is committed to providing the highest level of safety and security for our university community, including resolving investigations as quickly and accurately as possible,” IUP Department of Public Safety and University Police Chief Tim Stringer said. “This state-of-the-art camera system provides an important tool to assist us in our work. The opportunity to receive this system through the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police grant program saved IUP thousands of dollars,” he said.
