If you've ever thought about taking on a research or creative project, now's your time to make a move.

Applications for U-SOAR, the Undergraduate Summer Opportunity for Applying Research, are now being accepted. U-SOAR is open to students in all majors and can be done completely remotely. Your research project can be almost anything you can imagine, including a creative project. Past projects have included adapting a play to make it sensory friendly, archaeological digs, field research on wastewater, and much, much more.

It's a great opportunity to add to your résumé, create new knowledge, work with a faculty mentor, and learn new skills. And all U-SOAR participants are offered funding to support their work.

Applications are due Friday, April 16. Visit the U-SOAR website for more details.

It's also Research Appreciation Week at IUP. This year's Scholars Forum will be fully online and will include posters, presentations, workshops, the Three-Minute Thesis competition, and a juried art exhibit.

See a full schedule of events on the Research Appreciation Week website.
