Thomas L. Harris passed away on September 13, 2020. He was the father of Karen Mathe (Social Equity and Title IX Office) and grandfather of Kevin Mathe (Foundation for IUP) and Mark Mathe (formerly KCAC).
Mr. Harris was a proud alumnus of IUP (Indiana State Teachers College) and a retired teacher in the Indiana Area School District. He was a mentor and friend to many IUP employees and those in the Indiana community.
Visitation with the family will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
A private memorial service for immediate family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020. Those who wish to attend the service remotely may find the Zoom information, and complete obituary, on the Lefdahl Funeral Home website.
