Indiana University of Pennsylvania has been selected for Money Magazine's “Best College for Your Money 2020” listing, recognized for “successfully combining quality and affordability.”

Editors considered more than 27 factors in selecting universities for the rankings, centered around three measures: quality of education, including graduation rate and peer quality (academic preparation of students accepted by the university); affordability, including debt of graduates; and outcomes, which includes graduates' earnings and socio-economic mobility index. These measures were determined by sources that included PayScale.com.

IUP is routinely included in national publications for excellence, including Princeton Review's Best Colleges guidebook; U.S. News & World Report's Best Colleges list; Forbes magazine's “America's Best Colleges” rankings; and Washington Monthly's national ranking of universities based on contributions to society.

IUP offers more than 140 undergraduate majors and more than 60 graduate programs, including 14 doctoral programs. In addition, students can complete more than 65 minors and scores of specialized tracks and certificate programs, including certificates in athletic coaching, gerontology, photography and digital imaging, popular music, and public history.

IUP continues to add new, in-demand programs of study for its students. Its newest undergraduate majors are public health and environmental engineering; IUP also offers the only part-time PhD program in business in the region.
