The accolades continue for Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Editors went on to stress IUP's value: “with in-state tuition well below $10,000 a year, there's no denying the value of an IUP education.”

Best Value Schools uses independent national data to create the rankings, which also includes average undergraduate graduation rates and tuition rates.

IUP offers 140 undergraduate majors, nearly 60 master's degree programs, and 14 doctoral degrees.

This recent ranking follows IUP's recognition in the top 20 “Best Online Colleges and Universities” for 2019–20 in the nation by, a nationally recognized publisher of college resources and rankings.

Rankings are based on affordability and return on investment, while also considering factors such as graduation and retention rates.
