The Association for Management Information Systems student group will host an “e-cycling” event to recycle old electronics April 30, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology parking lot.

The lot is located just off Eleventh Street next to the Memorial Field House and Miller Stadium. It is behind the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.

The IUP student group is working with JVS Environmental for the recycling project. Items that may be recycled include computers, laptops, printers, copiers, fax machines, televisions, computer monitors, radio equipment, cables, cords, mice, speakers, and keyboards.

There will be a $5 charge per monitor and a $10 charge per television, as these items contain lead. All other items will be recycled free of charge.
