The Six O'Clock Series will launch its Spring 2011 season with a program on award-winning film FUEL on January 31 at 6:00 p.m. in Fisher Auditorium.
Cosponsored by the Entertainment Network, the program will feature film director Josh Tickell and producer Rebecca Tickell. FUEL is the 2008 Sundance Film Festival Audience Award Winner. The Tickells will address what they believe to be “the world's addiction to oil that taxes the environment, entangles us in costly foreign policies, and threatens the nation's long-term stability.”
The Six O'Clock Series will present twelve programs during the Spring semester on issues ranging from studying abroad to civil rights to sex.

- “Slavery, State's Rights and Secession,” March 14

- “Ritual and Rebirth,” March 28
- “Generational Differences: Working with Someone Older than You,” April 4
- “Reshaping the Housing Market in the Wake of the Foreclosure Crisis,” April 11
- “IUP Sexfest with Sue Johanson,” April 18 in Fisher Auditorium
- “Business of Being Born,” April 25
Six O'Clock Series programs are from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. every Monday evening and are free and open to the public. All programs except those on January 31 and April 18 will be held in the Hadley Union Building Ohio Room. Parking is free on campus after 5:00 p.m.
