The Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex will host longtime basketball-entertainment team the Harlem Globetrotters for its first major event on Thursday, March 10, 2011, at 7:00 p.m.
The Kovalchick Complex is a 150,000-square-foot event center under construction along Wayne Avenue, next to campus.
Ticket Information
Tickets for the Globetrotters go on sale Monday, November 22, at 10:00 a.m. on the Kovalchick Complex website , and by calling 800-298-4200.
Ticket prices are as follows (prices include the $4 facility fee):
- Magic Circle (courtside): $49
- VIP Lower Level: $34
- Upper sideline: $29
- Lower end zone: $24
- Upper end zone: $18

Magic Pass
The Magic Pass is a thirty-minute interactive event from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m. for $15 per pass. One pass per person and a ticket for that evening's show are required for attendance. The Magic Pass can be added to any ticket order while spaces are still available.
Behind the Magic VIP Package
The Behind the Magic VIP Package is a $30 package that can be added only to Magic Circle tickets. One pass per person and a ticket for that evening's show are required for attendance.
The Behind the Magic package provides the following:
- Thirty-minute interactive event from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m.
- Exclusive meet-and-greet with the team at halftime
- Inclusion in the Harlem Globetrotters' official high-five tunnel as they take the court after halftime
- Inclusion in the YMCA dance at the end of the third quarter
The Globetrotters will be available to sign autographs after the show.
About the Kovalchick Complex
The Kovalchick Complex, which will be completed in spring 2011, will offer the 4,000- to 6,000-seat Ed Fry Arena, the 650-seat Christine Toretti auditorium, athletic department administrative offices, and conference facilities.
While owned and managed by IUP, the Kovalchick Complex is designed to serve as a cultural and economic development resource for the Indiana region. It is named in honor of the Kovalchick family of Indiana, which donated $2 million for the facility's construction.
In July 2009, IUP selected Global Spectrum, a leading firm for managing university arenas and a subsidiary of Comcast-Spectacor, to manage, market, and operate the Kovalchick Complex's Ed Fry Arena.
