Indiana University of Pennsylvania will host a free panel discussion, “Financial Markets in Crisis: What This Means for You,” on Oct. 16 at 7 p.m.

The program will be in the IUP Eberly College of Business and Information Technology auditorium, on the first floor of the building. Eberly is along Eleventh Street across from Miller Stadium.

The event is open to the community. Parking is free on campus after 5 p.m.

Panel participants include John Dolan, president and CEO of First Commonwealth Financial Corp.; Malcolm Polley, president of Stewart Capital Advisors, LLC; Dr. Ibrahim Affaneh, chairperson of IUP's department of finance and legal studies; and Dr. David Yerger, IUP professor of economics.

Dr. Robert Camp, dean of the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology, will serve as moderator for the event.
