In recognition of the many things Susan Delaney has done for IUP, the IUP Council of Trustees announce at its March meeting that it would name what is now known as Suites on Grant—Lower as Susan Snell Delaney Hall.
Delaney, a member of the IUP Class of 1964, has served on the IUP Council of Trustees for more than a decade. As chairperson of the council, she presided over a period of university growth and innovation that included restoration of John Sutton Hall, a successful capital campaign, and development of the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex and IUP's Student Residential Revival, among many other initiatives. She also has served as a member of many university committees and advisory groups, including the Research Institute Board of Directors, the Middle States Steering Committee, and three presidential search committees.
