The IUP Housing Office is pleased to announce the start of the 2023–24 Best Dressed Room Contest. On-campus residents should send us a picture of their room and get a chance to win some great prizes and show off their style and creativity.
Does your residence hall room slap? Is it the GOAT? Enter the contest to be awarded this year’s Best Dressed Room at IUP!
Prizes
- Best Overall: $75 Flex dollars and a $25 Co-op Store gift card
- Most Creative: $25 Flex dollars and a $25 Co-op Store gift card
- Best Fall Décor, Lighting, or Fandom: $25 Flex dollars and a $25 Co-op Store gift card
Guidelines
Contestants can submit up to four photos. If contestants share a room, both/all roommates must agree to enter the contest. Students who are employed by IUP’s Housing Office are not eligible to win prizes.
How to Enter
Email your photo(s) to caiello@iup.edu. Please include your name and the residence hall in which you reside. Remember: make sure your pictures are appropriate, or they will be ineligible. Your room must also adhere to the Housing Agreement.
Voting
Online voting will be open for three days on October 20 through the 23 (at noon) through Housing’s Facebook page (@IUP_Housing). Voting is public, so encourage your family and friends to “like” your photo! The most liked rooms will then be voted on by the panel to determine the Best Dressed Room Contest’s winners.

- October 20–23: Vote online @IUP_OHRLD on Facebook
- October 30: Finalists voted on by a panel
- October 31: Winners announced
