Join the Haven Project for SETpoint FORCE: A Self-Defense and Empowerment Workshop. 

This empowerment-based self-defense training provides powerful and preventative tools for reducing sexual and physical assault for individuals at an increased risk of gender-based violence, including women and members of the LGBTQ+ community. 

Across a series of four sessions, participants will learn and practice skills in:

  • Situational awareness (session one)
  • Boundary-setting (session two)
  • Physical resistance techniques (session three)
  • Bystander intervention (session four)

Participants must attend all four sessions:

Session 1: Tuesday, September 28, 7:30–8:30 p.m. 
Session 2: Thursday, September 30, 7:30–8:30 p.m.
Session 3: Tuesday, October 5, 6:00–9:00 p.m. 
Session 4: Thursday, October 7, 7:30–8:30 p.m.
