Scientific Ocean Drilling, Evolution of ancient wind systems, atmospheric dust, Earth Science Education, and, of course, SpongeBob Square Pants

Current Projects

Long-term projects include several studies to identify and track the latitudinal position of the inter-tropical convergence zone. I'm also involved with several campus initiatives involving energy sustainability including natural gas usage, building energy monitoring, recycling, etc.
