The Student Finance Association extends its sincere appreciation to all guest speakers who generously shared their time with the organization during fall 2025. Whether presenting on campus or joining via Zoom, each speaker provided students with valuable insights into career paths, academic success, and effective networking strategies.
Below is an overview of the guest speakers invited to SFA meetings during fall 2025:
- Daniel Ayebo and Dominic Rocco: The SFA hosted two IUP alumni currently working at PNC. Ayebo, a senior accounting manager at PNC, graduated from IUP with a BS in accounting and MIS and was a former IUP basketball player. Rocco, a BS in finance and accounting and a former chief investment officer of the Student Managed Investment Portfolio (SMIP), currently works as a finance associate at PNC.
- Felipe Ucros: Hosted in collaboration with SMIP, Ucros is a 2005 IUP alumnus with degrees in finance and economics/mathematics and is one of the founders of SMIP. He began his career in investment banking at Lehman Brothers and now serves as an equity research director at Scotiabank.
- Mitch O’Shell: A 2019 IUP Finance alumnus, O’Shell works in PNC’s Debt Capital Markets division based in the firm’s Pittsburgh office.
- Jack Shea: Shea currently serves as global commercial assessment and forecasting lead at Merck, where he oversees forecasting new drug pipelines and develops pricing strategies for Merck’s portfolio. He has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Chris Krahe: Hosted in collaboration with SMIP, Krahe is an IUP alumnus who went on to earn a master’s in public policy from the University of Chicago. He is currently the managing director and chief of staff to the CEO at S&P Global.
