Consumer fraud and identity theft are putting communities at risk. To raise awareness, S&T Bank will host an “Identity Theft Shredding Event” this Thursday, October 28, in the back parking lot of its headquarters at 8th and Philadelphia streets.
A company called CyberCrunch will be on-site to shred hard drives and data devices while you watch. They will accept old desktop computers, laptops, tablets, hard drives, and cell phones. No paper, TVs, tapes, CDs, DVDs, or other electronics will be accepted.
The event is rain or shine from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
