IUP Institute for Cyber Security Director Waleed Farag has published a new blog post emphasizing the critical role of collaboration in strengthening cybersecurity education and workforce development across Pennsylvania.

The blog highlights collaborative initiatives supported by more than $15 million in federal funding, including the Department of Defense–funded PA Community College Consortium Cooperative Agreement (PC4A) and the NIST-funded PA Cyber Workforce Alliance.

The post also outlines how these partnerships have created scholarships, internships, certification opportunities, and experiential learning programs benefiting students and educators statewide while advancing cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
