The Internation Cyber League will host the first hyper-realistic tournament for cybersecurity students. Participation is free for all participants in the ICL: Collegiate Cup.

What is the ICL: Collegiate Cup?

ICL is a virtual cyber competition that will allow students in cybersecurity programs to compete on a hyper-realistic cyber range that simulates the real-world attack scenarios they will face on the job.  Students will test their skills and knowledge, competing for the title of Best Cyber Defense Team in Higher Education and some incredible prizes. This is a global tournament, with over 400 institutions from around the globe expected to participate.

How Does it work?

School leaders will be invited to nominate four students from their school’s cybersecurity program to participate in the competition. The four students must register by October 8 to qualify. In the first round of the tournament, students will face a series of cyber challenges as individuals. The top 20 teams will move on to the second round, where the four contestants in each institution will collaborate as a team in a “live-fire” simulation lasting up to three hours, where they will be required to mitigate a cyberattack on a virtual organization, emulated in the cyber range.

Registration

Visit the ICL: Collegiate Cup Registration page by 11:59 p.m. on October 8, 2022, to register for the competition.

Get Ready with New Warmup Course

To help registrants prepare for the competition, the ICL has released a free warmup course to help them learn the cyber range and security tools. Teams will receive their ICL Cyber range account with warmup labs once their team registers.
