The Laboratory for Physical Sciences at the National Security Agency is hosting a summer internship focused on high-performance computing for undergraduates during the summer of 2022.

The program will run from June 6–August 5, 2022, and will take place at LPS in Catonsville, Maryland.

Participants in the program will receive a $500/week stipend in addition to having all expenses paid for.

The goal of this program is to give bright, driven, undergraduate students majoring in mathematics, computer science, computer engineering, and related fields experience working on technical problems in future computing that support NSA mission needs. In addition, students will learn about the NSA mission and exciting career opportunities.

The program will include challenging hands-on technical work, talks by technical experts, presentations about job opportunities and educational/social field trips. The internship is ideal for students graduating in spring 2023, but is open to all undergraduates who are US citizens.

The Deadline to apply is January 31, 2022.
