Steven Kleinman (associate professor, Communications Media) has been appointed to serve as editor of the Journal of Communications Media Studies. Kleinman follows colleague Zack Stiegler, who served in the position for seven years.
An annual publication of the IUP Department of Communications Media, JCMS is a peer-reviewed journal showcasing research in communication and media studies, with a review board and authorship that are both international in scope.
The first issue of JCMS under Kleinman's editorship will be the publication's 12th.
