CCD graduate assistants Brooke Eisenhuth and Kai Ratleff and Social Equity and Title IX Office graduate assistant Sarah Logue
New Center for Civic Dialogue graduate assistants Brooke Eisenhuth and Kai Ratleff and the Social Equity and Title IX Office’s graduate assistant Sarah Logue are making the CCD satellite office in 114 Elkin Hall their new workspace until the permanent center location is ready for us to move in.
Eisenhuth, Ratleff, and Logue are working on campus-wide programming as well as virtual and in-person outreach. Logue also serves as a liaison between the CCD and the Social Equity and Title IX Office. Special thanks to Elise Glenn, IUP’s chief compliance officer, for sharing her graduate assistant with us! And special thanks to Tom Segar and Roger Briscoe for allowing us to use this space next to our amazing Student Affairs colleagues. We are also in the process of hiring up to six undergraduate students, who will use this space as a hub for campuswide outreach.
Eisenhuth just moved here from Dickson, Tennessee. She earned her BA in anthropology at Ole Miss (University of Mississippi). Now, she is working on her MA in applied archaeology as well as a GIS certificate here at IUP.
Ratleff earned his BA in political science from IUP and is currently pursuing an MA in public affairs with a concentration in local government management. Originally from York, Pennsylvania, he aspires to work with nonprofits and advocacy groups dedicated to improving local communities through policy research.
Logue, who is from Philadelphia, earned her BA in museum studies from Arizona State University, which heavily focused on social as well as economic issues relating to art, education, and society. She is pleased to assist the Center for Civic Dialogue as it gears up to be an incredible resource to students in regard to fostering a more inclusive, thoughtful, and empathetic environment for discussion.
