Parker BradleyCongratulations to Parker Bradley, an undergraduate student in the Madia Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Physics, on publishing his research article titled “Intercalation of antibacterial photoactive ruthenium (II) polypyridyl complex onto montmorillonite clay” in Inorganic Chemistry Communications (Impact Factor: 5.4).

Parker worked on this project under the guidance of Dr. Avijita Jain, in collaboration with Dr. Andrada Maicaneanu. Over the past three years, he has been an active member of Dr. Jain’s research group, focusing on photoactive inorganic materials with potential antibacterial properties. Parker has also shared his work at several National and Regional American Chemical Society (ACS) meetings.

This publication is a wonderful recognition of Parker’s hard work, curiosity, and commitment to research. It also marks an exciting step forward in his academic journey.
