Minor in Accounting

An accounting classroom at IUP usually has fewer than 30 students USING THE TOOLS OF THE TRADE: Students in this Federal Tax II class are using their IT skills to develop work papers documenting client stock transaction information for a tax audit scenario. They can also access online tax research through Stapleton Library and use professional tax software.

The accounting minor adds a strong skill set to your qualifications. 

The minor in accounting requires completion of six courses (or 18 credit hours). In addition, the
student must complete the following course requirements with an overall 2.0 QPA for a minor. The program is as follows:

Required Courses: 9 credits

Any three courses from the following: 9 credits (at least two courses with ACCT Prefix)

Total Minor Requirements: 18
