Indiana Regional Medical Center will be providing H1N1 vaccine to county residents at multiple sites in January 2010. There is no appointment necessary for these special vaccination sites.

Two public vaccination clinics will be held on Saturday, January 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Business Expo (held at the Indiana Mall) and at IRMC at Chestnut Ridge (Blairsville) from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Associated IRMC/IHPS offices, including Bolivar, Homer Center, Marion Center, and Plumville, will also have the vaccine available after January 16 at the following times:

  • Plumville, Wednesdays 1:00–4:00 p.m.
  • Bolivar, Thursdays 10:00–2:00 p.m.
  • Marion Center, Fridays 1:00–4:00 p.m.
  • Homer Center, Fridays 1:00–4:00 p.m.

It's important for people to still get immunized, even though influenza activity in the state is declining. The Department of Health is anticipating a third wave of this pandemic in Pennsylvania. The best way to protect yourself and your family is to get vaccinated.

Any individual age four or older, regardless of priority, may receive the vaccine.
