The Office of International Education at IUP will hold International Unity Day on Saturday, April 7, 2018, from noon to 3:00 p.m. in the Hadley Union Building at IUP.  This event is free and open to all.

IUP has over 900 international students from 56 countries. International Unity Day has been held for over 20 years. This year’s celebration includes 28 country booths and 10 different entertainment acts. We’re pleased to have special booths this year hosted by 16 Fellows from the International Leaders in Education Program, made possible by IREX and the US Department of State. Come explore the world’s diversity in one day through international cuisine, poster displays, and entertainment.

Each booth is organized by IUP international students, scholars, faculty, and staff showcasing cultures from their home countries. Food samples will be available at the booths from noon until 1:30 p.m. A Children’s Room, featuring origami, a photo booth, face painting, and balloon art. will be available from noon until 1:30 p.m. Student and regional performances, including dance and musical selections, will take place from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. in the HUB: Ohio Room.
