Ankrum Publishes on Differentiated Reading Instruction in Primary Grade Classrooms

Julie Ankrum and colleagues conducted a study of differentiated reading instruction in primary grade classrooms. They noticed distinctly different discourse patterns in lessons taught by two first grade teachers. This article provides a description of the discourse patterns and implications for literacy instruction.
