IUP Cyber Security/IA Day on Thursday, November 3

The Institute for Cyber Security, IUP IT Support Services, and IUP Center for Teaching Excellence are pleased to present the ninth annual IUP Cyber Security/IA Day this Thursday, November 3, in the Ohio room of the HUB. All students, staff, and faculty are welcome to attend.

Cyber security experts, including the director of the Information Directorate of U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, the chief security officer for S&T Bank, and a leading government and industry consultant on best network security practices, will provide insight into cyber security—from tips to keep you cyber safe to national cyber security policies and cyber crime in an evolving global theater.  

Welcome and opening remarks begin at 9:00 a.m. New sessions start at 9:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 1:10 p.m. A panel session, “What Every  College Student Should Know about Online Image, Privacy, and Security Issues,” will start at 2:00 p.m.
