Six Indiana University of Pennsylvania
graduates were honored at the 2014 Young Alumni Achievement Awards luncheon on Monday, November 10, 2014.
Sponsored by the IUP Ambassadors,
students who provide support to the Alumni Relations Office, the
Young Alumni Achievement Award was created to recognize recent IUP graduates
identified as being outstanding in their professions and to present these alumni
to current IUP students as examples of exceptional achievement.
The 2014 recipients include: Indiana native, Michael Jarvis ’08,
Geologist, Range Resources; Timothy Beck ’04, M ’06, Supervisory Agent in
Charge, OPM Federal Investigative Services; Trey Davenport ’04, Animation
Producer, Gearbox Studios; Randel Massafra ’99, Technical Lead, The Vanguard
Group; Kali Rosenberger ’09, English Language Arts and Drama Teacher, Saint
Joseph School; and Xiaojing Yan ’07, Independent Artist.
Recipients returned to campus on Sunday, November 9, to attend the Young Alumni Networking Dinner, where they were seated with current students and encouraged to share career advice. On Monday, each recipient spoke to classes chosen for them by their college.
IUP
graduates of less than 15 years are eligible for this award. Recipients are
selected by the deans of their colleges.
