IUP Archaeology students, staff, and faculty in the Department of Anthropology will celebrate International Archaeology Day and Pennsylvania Archaeology Month with an open house in the IUP Archaeology Labs on Saturday, October 19, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. The labs are located on the ground floor of McElhaney Hall, 441 North Walk on the IUP campus. All are welcome!
The open house will include a demonstration of 3-D modeling of sites, artifact displays, slide shows, geophysical equipment demonstrations, and poster exhibits about archaeological projects conducted by IUP faculty, staff, and graduate students. All are welcome to come learn more about archaeology at IUP. This is a kid-friendly event.
