Get Involved in the Many Opportunities for English Majors
The English Department at IUP is a thriving, active, and supportive community.
This gives English majors many out-of-classroom chances to learn and excel, demonstrate their knowledge and skills, and become involved in meaningful projects in the community.
You can get involved in English-specific and other campus organizations and give a professional presentation at the annual English Undergraduate Conference.
Students can also submit their work to a number of IUP English journals and a literary magazine. Student writers are also needed for the campus newspaper.
