Denison Conducts Honor Choir in Virginia

In mid-October, Department of Music  faculty member, Craig Denison conducted the Prince William County Junior High Bass Honor Choir.

The choir was composed of 125 tenor and bass singers, ages 12 to 15, selected by their individual schools and represented a diverse range of musical experiences and abilities.

Prince William County Public Schools is ranked among the Nation’s 100 Best Communities for Young People by America’s Promise Alliance and ING. “The Washington Post” High School Challenge ranks PWCS high schools among the top 9% in the nation.

Denison is associate director of Music Education and Choral Music. Prior to coming to IUP, he taught and conducted youth and children’s choirs for nearly 30 years.
