The RI team wants to generously thank all 136 people who supported the research endeavors at IUP by attending the 2019 Researchers’ Reception at the Hilton Garden Inn. We think it went very well, and we hope you all took the opportunity
to make new friends and discuss collaborations on a scholarly activity. If you were not able to join us, we will give you another opportunity next year!
And, of course, we want to announce the winner and runner up of the Crimson Cup Challenge. As you are all aware, the Cup Challenge is a competition among the academic colleges to earn ownership (for one year) of the
Crimson Cup, up to $2,000 in research support funds, and most importantly… bragging rights!
First place is based on: percent of attendance (weighted 50 percent) and the percent increase (or decrease) in the number of proposals and awards (weighted 25 percent each). Base employee numbers in each college were obtained from our Human
Congratulations to Dean Bob Camp and Associate Dean Cyndy Strittmatter and their entire team for their collective efforts with proposals, awards, and attendance. ECOBIT will take ownership (for one year) of the Cup and receive up to $2,000 in research/scholarship
support. The cup will be engraved for 2019 and presented to Dean Camp at an upcoming Council of Deans’ meeting.
