On Monday, April 1, 2019, the Ruddock Hall Communications Living Learning Community took a trip to Forever Media and WJAC-TV in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

IUP alumnus Michael Fetsko showed the group the inner workings of a radio station. Students were able to tour the media facilities at Forever Media and were fortunate enough to chat with some of the company’s on-air talent.

After touring Forever Media, the group then traveled to WJAC-TV where IUP alumnus Crispin Havener, who is the investigative reporter for WJAC-TV, gave the group a tour of the newsroom, production facility, and the WJAC-TV studio.

Finally, our group was able to view the live production of the Noon Newscast.

The Ruddock Hall Communications Living Learning Community would like to thank Dr. Gail Wilson and Dr. Vicky Ortiz for arranging this trip.

In addition, the Ruddock Hall Communications Living Learning Community would like to thank alumni Michael Fetsko of Forever Media and Crispin Havener at WJAC-TV for being gracious hosts.
