It’s been a few years since the Allenwood has been open for dining on campus, but it’s back and better than ever.
IUP students enrolled in Hospitality Management and Food and Nutrition programs are required to take two laboratory courses offered through the Department of Hospitality Management. In both of these courses the students manage the Allenwood. This opportunity
provides them with valuable hands-on learning and critical skills and experience towards their future careers.
These students also apply and develop managerial functions of planning, organizing, influencing, and controlling a food-service operation.
By dining with us at the Allenwood, you not only are in for a treat with our fabulous, steakhouse-themed menus, but you are also supporting our students and helping to prepare the next generation of hospitality professionals.
The Allenwood is open during the spring 2019 semester for lunch on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Reservations are not required, but are encouraged. Seating is limited, and guests are taken on a first-come,
If you would like to make a reservation for any of our open dates, please visit the Lunch Reservation page to request a reservation. Once your reservation is
received, a confirmation email will be sent within 24 hours.
We look forward to serving you soon!
