Join the IUP Career and Professional
Development Center and the Office of Alumni and Friends on Monday, October 29, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. in the Great Room in Elkin Hall for a “Recent Alumni Panel: What I Wish
I Would Have Known.” There will also be networking with various employers, Career Center staff, and the panelists following the presentation.
Seven recent IUP graduates will be serving as panelists for this event, to share their experiences at IUP, their current career success this far, and advice for current students. Join us for this panel-style session to hear advice from recent IUP alumni
on what advice they would tell themselves if they were still in college.
Panelists include: Ashley Testa ’10, M’12; CJ Lyons ’04, M’16; Omega Gamble ’08; Jennifer McKendrick ’04; Matthew Spangler ’08, M’11; Michael Ayoola ’12; and Elizabeth Judge ’12.
This event is also part of the Career and Professional Development Center’s Career Ready Seminar Series, which aims to provide targeted events to help IUP students gain and understand the necessary skills and competencies to be successful in life after
Kelsey Thompson, assistant director of the CPDC, helped to coordinate the event. “We are excited to be partnering with the Office of Alumni and Friends in helping to bring back all of these fantastic alumni. They all bring a variety of backgrounds and
career paths and are anxious to share their IUP experience and advice with current students. We are looking forward to a great panel and discussion, as well as time to network with professionals.”
