Twenty-four Indiana County high school students, housed in Ruddock Hall, are participating in classes taught by local high school teachers and IUP instructors that prepare them for their upcoming academic year curriculum.

Content instruction is complemented by a Field Science course taught by Holly Travis of the Biology Department, where participants are exposed to research and data gathering techniques.

The program kicked off with a week-long Biotechnology camp conducted by Narayanaswamy Bharathan. Participants are also engaged in service learning activities on and around campus, including a blood drive on Thursday, June 28, at IUP.

UBMS participants are wearing name tags to identify them with the UBMS Summer Residential Program. If you see them, please welcome them to IUP!
