Returning to the Artists Hand Gallery and Espresso Bar on
Philadelphia Street in Indiana, Pennsylvania, for the fifth consecutive year,
“The University Museum Goes Downtown” opens Wednesday, April 11, with
Women of Art. The exhibit runs April 11 to May 21, 2018. There will be a public reception on Friday,
April 13, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with free admission.
The exhibition features works by Alva J. Hall, Jean
Blackburn, Prudence See, and Susan Currie, among others, all from the
University Museum Permanent Collection. The selection of paintings on display
embodies an array of styles, time periods, and artists.
The Artists Hand Gallery and Espresso Bar, located at 732
Philadelphia Street in downtown Indiana, is open Monday through Thursday, 8:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to
5:00 p.m. The Gallery is closed on Sundays.
