Please see below for a recommended packing list. Not everything on this list is required, but we do recommend following this closely so you are best prepared to stay overnight during the residential portion of the course. We recommend packing for at least seven days.
Students will be staying in Ruddock Hall while on campus. Check-in/move-in will be on Sunday, July 12. Check-out/move-out will be on Saturday, July 18.

Bedding/Hygiene Items
Bedding
- XL twin sheets (80 inch x 36 inch)
- Pillows and pillowcases
- Blanket or comforter
Hygiene
- Bath towels, wash cloths
- Shower items - soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc.
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Hand soap and hand towel
- Any medications you may need
- Hair care products - hairbrush, hair dryer, curler, straightener, etc.

Clothing
Day-to-day, bring whatever you will be comfortable in. July weather will be hot, but the buildings are air conditioned, so bring clothes for both climates. One of the course sessions involves machinery, so we recommend bringing close toed shoes and clothes you are okay with getting dirty.

- Dinner can be somewhat early, so if you want a snack in the evening, it's recommended you bring your own. The residence hall has vending machines, but the snack options are limited.
- The rooms come with a microwave and mini fridge.
- Spending money
- If you buy snacks/drinks from the vending machines, visit anywhere in town and want to buy something or eat somewhere, or buy IUP souvenirs from the Co-op Store.
