• Due to circumstances surrounding COVID-19, IUP Day has been transformed into a virtual experience this year. Student organizations are currently updating Crimson Connect and uploading videos to Flipgrid to provide information about how you can join this semester.

Starting at noon on Friday, September 18, students will be able to access all the videos uploaded onto Flipgrid. Students will be able to check out student organizations’ pages on Crimson Connect to see upcoming events that groups are hosting. Additionally, MCSLE staff will be available Friday from 2 :00 to 4:30 p.m. via Zoom to help discuss any questions students may have about getting involved.

Keep your eyes on your email for additional information and links.

In the meantime, organizations should update their Crimson Connect pages and re-register for the 2020–21 academic year.

  • Various Student Activities on IUP DayIUP Day allows students to explore ways of getting involved at IUP.

In addition, IUP Day allows for each recognized student organization to increase awareness of its mission and potentially its membership base. As a result, students gain a clear sense of the IUP community and the opportunities available through the recognized campus organizations, clubs, and activities.

IUP Day showcases recognized campus organizations that plan small events and/or activities to engage those students who attend. In previous years, events have included a fencing display by the IUP Fencing Club, a cornhole tournament with members of Phi Kappa Psi, and a stepshow organized by the members of Alpha Phi Alpha.

IUP Day 2019 is being planned by a group of students from across the university. Together, they are planning activities, music, giveaways, food, entertainment, and more. Recognized organizations can register for the event through the Crimson Connect page.
