Student Employment serves as a liaison between students and employers.

As an undergraduate student, employment is the most common activity among students. In addition, statistics show that employment has a positive effect on persistence and degree completion.

Hire-a-Hawk for on-campus jobs. Provides students with one central location to find a job on any IUP campus. Jobs are posted, students are hired, and the background clearance process is completed using the human resources software tool NEOED.

Handshake offers opportunities for employment while you are in school, internships, co-ops, and opportunities once you graduate.  You can upload a profile, résumé, and skills; then either seek out employers or have them find you.  

Parker Dewey offers micro-internships—meaning short-term, paid, professional assignments that are similar to those given to new hires or interns. All majors are able to apply to help build and demonstrate skills while exploring a variety of career paths.
