Student Employment at IUP

Student Employment serves as a liaison between students and employers.

Hire A Hawk for on-campus jobs. Provides students with one central location to find a job on any IUP campus. Jobs are posted, students are hired, and the background clearance process is completed using the human resources software tool NEOED.

QuadJobs for off-campus, part-time jobs. An online service that connects students with local jobs that fit your schedule. To get started, sign up (it's completely free and just takes a few minutes), complete your profile with information about yourself, and check out open jobs near you!

Parker Dewey offers micro-internships—meaning short-term, paid, professional assignments that are similar to those given to new hires or interns. All majors are able to apply to help build and demonstrate skills while exploring a variety of career paths.

As an undergraduate student, employment is the most common activity among students. In addition, statistics show that employment has a positive effect on persistence and degree completion.
