Career and Professional Development Center Services
In addition to organizing several career fairs, employer information sessions, on-campus interviews with recruiters, and career workshops, the Career and Professional Development Center offers a number of other services to IUP students.
We offer hour-long virtual career consulting sessions; provide access to online resources for jobs, graduate schools, and internships; and conduct virtual mock interviews.

Résumés and Cover Letters: The Basics - Do you have a résumé or cover letter that needs to be updated? Or have you never written one of these documents in your life? Regardless of where you are, this presentation, led by CPDC Associate Director Kelsey Thompson, will cover all the résumé and cover letter writing basics you need to know.
Interviewing 101- Interviewing can be intimidating, but not when you know what to expect and how to prepare. The PASSHE-West Virtual Recruitment Campaign is a pilot initiated by the career center teams of California University of Pennsylvania, Clarion University, Edinboro University, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and Slippery Rock University to create opportunities for students and employers to connect, network, and share information.
Additional details are included on Handshake, the online recruiting system used by thousands of employers. All IUP students have a free Handshake account which can be accessed through the IUP Single Sign-On System.
