How to apply for a field (internship, externship, or clinical) experience
Most of IUP's internships and co-ops are handled at the department level. A field experience coordinator in your department will assist you with selecting an approved site and applying for the field experience. Please note that sites must be approved prior to your departure, and site approval may take as long as 45 days or more. Please plan ahead.
Registration for the Internship, Externship, Practicum, or Clinical course is required for you to receive credits. This is handled through the online registration system, MyIUP.
Certain departments may have additional requirements. Please check with your department for details.
